Professor Adrian Parker BSc. (Hons), D.Phil. (Oxon)

Professor in Geography

Prehistory of the Middle East, North Africa, Southern Africa and southern England. Quaternary science, geoarchaeology, geomorphology, environmental archaeology, palaeoecology. Application of multi proxy techniques e.g. Phytoliths, pollen, geochemistry. Former interests include the restoration of vintage lawnmowers (e.g. Ransomes, Webb, Dennis, Atco) and British Motor Cycles (BSA, Royal Enfield). Often seen under the bonnet of his Dormobile conversion Landrover Defender.
